Mysteries of Sigiriya Sigiriya, also known as the Lion Rock, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Sri Lanka, famous for its stunning ancient rock fortress. Rising 200 meters above the surrounding plains, this massive rock was transformed into a royal palace by King Kashyapa in the 5th century.
